On Thursday, June 16, 2005 (Day 6), we arrived in Naples. Italy. The excursion we chose was Amalfi Drive and Pompeii. This was our only guided tour and it absolutely worth while.

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the Italian Coastline - The Amalfi Drive and spent a little time roaming around the Piazza del Duomo while admiring the Cathedral of St. Andrew. We then continued our journey to Pompeii where we got hit by some heavy rain and lots of thunder. Due to the weather we weren't able to see as much as we would have liked to in Pompeii. However, our tour guide did an excellent job in showing us around the key places and trying to get us under cover as much as possible.
